Recipe Ingredients for Apple Crisp

6 medium apples
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup margarine, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup oatmeal
3/4 tsp nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Apple Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 375F

  2. Pare and slice apples

  3. Grease baking dish and arrange apples (I used a 9X9" dish)

  4. Cut the flour into the softened butter until it resembles bread crumbs. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

  5. Sprinkle the dry mixture onto the apples.

  6. Bake 30 minutes, or until apples are cooked and topping is golden brown.
