Apple crisp made with fresh apples, lemon juice, and nutmeg.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Crisp

3 cup slices Apples
0.25 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1/4 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1 fl oz Lemon Juice
0.25 cup Butter
0.25 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
0.25 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Apple Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Peel, core and thinly slice the apples.

  3. Place the apples in a 8" square pan that has been greased.

  4. Pour the lemon juice over the top of the apples.

  5. In a separate bowl mix together the brown sugar, flour, butter and spices until a sandy like texture.

  6. Place the mixture over the top of the apples.

  7. Place the pan in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until top is crispy and the apples are tender.

  8. Best served warm.
