Recipe Ingredients for Apple Cranberry Crisp

5 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter

Recipe Directions for Apple Cranberry Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. In a 2-quart baking dish, combine apples and cranberries.

  3. Sprinkle pie spice or cinnamon over fruit mixture in baking dish; toss to coat.

  4. In a small bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon pie spice. Using a pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over apple mixture.

  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
