Recipe Ingredients for Apple Cranberry Crisp


Filling:
6 cups apples, thinly sliced
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup dried cranberries

Topping:
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter

Recipe Directions for Apple Cranberry Crisp

  1. Preheat oven 425 F.

  2. Peel apples and prepare filling. Gently toss and put into square baking pan.

  3. In a bowl, combine butter and sugar, add flour and mix with fork or pastry knife until crumbly. Stir in oats. Sprinkle over filling.

  4. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.

  5. Remove from oven and let it cool.
