Recipe Ingredients for Apple Coffee Cake with Crumble Topping (Food Network)


Cake:
8 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream, light
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups peeled, cored and chopped apples

Crumble Topping:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Recipe Directions for Apple Coffee Cake with Crumble Topping (Food Network)

  1. Mix together butter and eggs.

  2. Add to that mixed flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

  3. Alternately stir in apples, sour cream and vanilla.

  4. Pour batter into 9x13 baking dish, oiled with cooking spray.

  5. In another bowl, cut butter into remaining ingredients for the crumble. Spread on top of batter in baking dish.

  6. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.

  7. **There's also a glaze to go on after this bakes, but we thought this was rich enough!**
