This old summer favorite is easy to make and very very tasty!

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Cobbler

1/2 cup sugar
5 cups apples, chopped (With or without the peel)
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1.38 cup milk (this is actually 1/2 cup evaporated milk)
3 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, melted

Recipe Directions for Apple Cobbler

  1. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 the cinnamon together and sprinkle over cut up apples in baking dish.

  2. Stir together dry ingredients in seperate bowl.

  3. Combine egg, milk, and butter and pour all at once into the dry ingredients.

  4. Mix until smooth.

  5. Poor over apples evenly.

  6. Bake at 325 for 1 hour or until done.

  7. Serve warm with cool whip or vanilla ice cream.
