Recipe Ingredients for apple cinnamon oatmeal

1 1/4 cups rolled oats
2 cups water
1 medium apple
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons brown sugar

Recipe Directions for apple cinnamon oatmeal

Boil water with chopped apples, salt and cinnamon. Add oats and cook for another minute. I used old fashioned oats, if using quick oats no need to cook the additional minute. Add the brown sugar and serve.
