Oatmeal with apples & cinnamon

Recipe Ingredients for Apple cinnamon oatmeal

1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 small (2-3/4") Apples
0.67 cup Oats, Regular And Quick And Instant, Unenriched
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
2 teaspoons brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Apple cinnamon oatmeal

Combine the water, applesauce & apples in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat and stir in oats & cinnamon. Return to a boil then reduce heat to low; simmer until thick, about 3 min. Spoon into serving bowls & pour milk over each serving. Add 1 tsp brown sugar to each serving.
