These oatmeal raisin cookies are from the Quaker Oats recipe with an added twist of adding the flavored oatmeal.

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups uncooked oatmeal
70 grams of instant oatmeal with Apples and cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (F).

  2. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed until creamy.

  3. Add eggs and vanilla to mix. Mix well into mixture.

  4. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together. Mix well into mixture.

  5. Add regular oats, flavored oats (1/2 cup or 2 packets) and raisins into mix. Mix well into mixture.

  6. Use a Ice cream scoop to scoop mixture onto cookie sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool 1 minute.

  7. Optional: Instead of ice cream scoop, for smaller cookies use tablespoon. For bars, spread mixture onto cookie sheet, coating the entire surface. Bake, let cool, then cut into square bar shapes.
