"Homemade" Apple Cinnamon Cream of Wheat

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Cinnamon Cream of Wheat

1 serving Cream of Wheat Healthy Grain - Instant
0.67 Apple Apples
1/2 cup Soymilk Vanilla
1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Natural Cane Turbinado Sugar
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Apple Cinnamon Cream of Wheat

  1. Dry mix the cream of wheat packet and sugar. (Could use an artificial sweetener. I prefer the flavor of sugar in the raw.)

  2. Chop and microwave the apple pieces for around 30 seconds. I ended up using around 2/3 of a medium apple. (This softens them up a bit.)

  3. Microwave the water and soymilk till hot.

  4. Stir together the cereal and the soymilk/water mix. (Stir fast the cereal tends to start getting lumpy immediately.)

  5. Add the apple and cinnamon and enjoy!
