Baked/Dried Apple Chips using Fuji Apples and ground Cinnamon

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Chips

663 grams Apples
10 grams Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Apple Chips

  1. Cut apples in thin slices

  2. Put in ice cold water

  3. Mix with some fresh squeezed lemon juice

  4. Preheat oven to 225 F

  5. Blot apples dry from water with paper towels

  6. Place apples on a rack of a baking sheet

  7. Sprinkle cinnamon over them, if desired.

  8. Bake apples for around 3 hours, with an extra half hour if needed. The intention isn't to have them baked, but dried. After 10 minutes of cooling, they should feel dry and crisp.
