3 cups Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 teaspoons Cinnamon, Ground
1 teaspoon Leavening Agents, Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Leavening Agents, Baking Powder, Low-sodium
1 teaspoon Salt, Table
1 cup Applesauce
2 cups Sugars, Granulated
2 Egg, Whole
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 cups Apples

Recipe Directions for Apple Bread

  1. Directions

  2. 1.In bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.

  3. 2.In large mixing bowl, place oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla and apples.

  4. 3.Stir into flour mixture.

  5. 4.Divided mixture between two greased 8-in. x 4-in. bread pans.

  6. 5.Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until bread test done.

  7. 6.Cool for 10 minutes on wire rack before removing from pan.
