My little apple bread experiment...

Recipe Ingredients for Apple Bread

1/2 c Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1 c oats
2 c apples, chopped
1/4 c walnuts, chopped
1/4 c raisins
1 tbsp Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Apple Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. grease and flour loaf pan

  3. cream butter and sugar

  4. add eggs, mix

  5. dissolve baking soda in milk, add butter

  6. stir in vanilla

  7. add flour and sugar

  8. stir in apples, nuts, raisins

  9. pour into pan

  10. mix together topping ingredients: butter, brown sugar, cinnamon

  11. crumble over top of batter

  12. bake approx 1 hour
