Recipe Ingredients for Apple Bread Pudding

3 cups bread
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 apple
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup almonds
1 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Apple Bread Pudding

Cut stale bread into cubes and put into greased casserol dish. Whisk together eggs, milk, and sugar with cinnamon and nutmeg. Add cut apple and raisins and mix well. Cover bread cubes in casserole and mix well to coat. In small bowl, mix oil, brown sugar, and chopped nuts. Mix well, and top bread cube mixture. Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. If edges begin to brown but center is not yet cooked, cover.
