Chewy style, with extra golden syrup

Recipe Ingredients for Anzac Biscuits

300 g plain flour
180 g rolled oats
170 g dessicated coconut
310 g brown sugar
250 g butter
6 tbsp golden syrup
2 tsp bicarbonate soda

Recipe Directions for Anzac Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees celcius

  2. Sift and combine dry ingredients

  3. Stir butter, syrup and one tablespoon of water over low heat until melted

  4. Stir in bicarbinate soda

  5. Pour melted mixture into dry and stir until combined

  6. Roll level tbsp of mixture into balls and place 5cm apart on tray

  7. Bake 10 mins until golden
