Perfect meatballs on their own or with a sauce. 1 serving = 1 ounce of meat = 1 meatball

Recipe Ingredients for Anytime Meatballs

1 lb ground beef
1/4 c bread crumbs
1/2 t oregano
1/2 t basil
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c milk
1/2 c onions, chopped
1/4 c carrots, chopped
1 t oil

Recipe Directions for Anytime Meatballs

  1. Heat oil and saute onions and carrots about 10 min, or until tender. Cool.

  2. Preheat oven to 325F.

  3. Combine all ingredients with hands or spoon, making sure not to overmix, which will result in tough meat.

  4. Shape into 2" balls (16 total) and place on an ungreased jellyroll pan, not allowing meatballs to touch.

  5. Bake for 20 min (grassfed beef) or up to 30 min (store bought beef). Cool and drain on paper towels.
