I've tried doing pumpkins seed with slow roast method in the oven (300F for 60 min, stirring every 15 min as for any roasted snack mix) but this is quicker and yields the same level of tastiness.

Recipe Ingredients for Ann's Seasoned Pumpkin Seeds

5 oz pumpkin seeds
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon butter

Recipe Directions for Ann's Seasoned Pumpkin Seeds

  1. Melt butter in saucepan till bubbling, pour in raw seeds, stir till they are coated in fat, swell and start to toast and pop. Stir CONSTANTLY.

  2. Add cayenne and salt.

  3. Eat immediately or jar for later.
