I saw this recepie on a food network program, so i cannot take full credit for it.

Recipe Ingredients for Andrew's Macadamia Nut Cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
8 ounces white chocolate chips
3/4 cup macadamia nuts

Recipe Directions for Andrew's Macadamia Nut Cookies

  1. Mix together Salt, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, and Flour

  2. Using a Mixer, beat the 2 sticks of room temperature butter until fluffy, around 2 mins

  3. Add the brown sugar, and continue mixing until smooth

  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and continue beating until incorporated, dont forget to scrape down the sides of the bowl

  5. Add the dry ingredients in 3 stages to avoid clumps while mixing

  6. Add the nuts(toasted in a 400F oven for around 5mins), and white chocolate chips and stir until incorporated.

  7. Scoop out cookies around 1tbsp of dough, or preferred size

  8. Cook in a 375F oven for 8-12 mins or until golden brown on top

  9. Makes around 32 cookies that can be stored in an air tight container for up to a week
