How I prepare a Starbuck's Grande Americano.

Recipe Ingredients for Andrew's Americano

16 fl oz Caffe Americano
2 tbsp Cream, Fluid, Half And Half
1 packet SPLENDA No Calorie
1 packet Zero Calorie Sweetener
1 packet No Calorie Sweetener

Recipe Directions for Andrew's Americano

  1. Go to Starbucks

  2. Stand in line

  3. Order a Grande Americano with room for cream. I'm going to add half and half, so I would technically order a Grande Americano with room for half and half. However the stress is on the room for liquid the customer is going to add, not so much on what the particular liquid is. As stating, "with room for liquid of my choice that I choose to add" is long winded, the vernacular is to state, "room for cream," even though everyone knows that cream may not be the liquid that is added. (update 10/2012: Lately I've just been saying, "with room" without specifying a liquid)

  4. Wait for the coffee to be prepared.

  5. Get the coffee and add the half and half and 1 of each sweetner packets.
