Pineapple-Canadian Bacon pizza on whole wheat crust

Recipe Ingredients for Amy's Hawaiian Pizza

1 tbsp yeast
1/4 cup warm water
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp canola oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup warm water
1 1/2 cup wheat flour
1 1/2 cup enriched flour
1/2 cup sweet and sour sauce
1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped
6 oz. canadian bacon
8 oz. pineapple tidbits
2 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese,
2 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
2 oz. shredded monterey jack cheese
2 oz. shredded colby cheese

Recipe Directions for Amy's Hawaiian Pizza

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.

  2. Combine separately:

  3. sugar, oil, salt, 1/2 cup warm water

  4. Add above mixture to yeast mixture

  5. Gradually add flour to mixture while beating with a dough hook on an electric mixer.

  6. Roll into a crust and place on pizza pan or cookie sheet.

  7. Spread with:

  8. sweet and sour sauce

  9. chopped nuts

  10. 3/4 of the cheese

  11. Canadian Bacon slices

  12. pineapple tidbits

  13. remaining cheese

  14. Bake for 12 -15 minutes at 425.
