A hearty soup for a cold day. Beans can be dry or canned. If dry, pressure for 45 min instead of 25. If no pressure cooker, the soup can still be made by simmering on a range top.

Recipe Ingredients for Amy's chicken & other stuff soup

2 lb chicken
1/4 cups brown rice
1/2 cups macaroni, whole wheat
1/2 cups onion
1/4 cups bell pepper
1 cups butter beans
1 cups great northern beans
8 cups chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Amy's chicken & other stuff soup

  1. throw beans, broth, chicken onion, peppers into pressure cooker.

  2. Cook for 25 minutes at high pressure.

  3. Open and add rice (can be cooked already) and pasta. Cook until pasta & rice are done.
