Simple potato salad. Easy to make and great with additional add-ons, such as crumbled bacon, whole grain mustard and hard boiled eggs.

Recipe Ingredients for American Potato Salad

1 1/2 pounds red potatos
1/4 cup celery
2 tbsp red onion
1/4 cup cilantro
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for American Potato Salad

  1. Boil potatoes until tender when pierced with a fork. Drain and cut into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Toss potatos with diced celery, minced red onion, minced cilantro.

  3. Stir together with mayonnaise and red wine vinegar.

  4. Add the mayonnaise mixture and toss gently to coat.

  5. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
