Recipe Ingredients for American Heart Association Banana Oat Bran Bread

3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1/4 cup Sugars, Granulated
0.33 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
0.33 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
1 large Egg, Whole
1 1/4 cup Rogers All Purpose Flour
1 cup Oat Bran Hot Cereal
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder

Recipe Directions for American Heart Association Banana Oat Bran Bread

  1. Mix wet ingredients and sugar. Combine thoroughly. Mix in nuts.

  2. Combine all dry ingredients throughly.

  3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet. Combine until just mixed. Pour into a loaf pan and bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes. Remove from oven, and let cool in pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack. Sides will appear burnt--they aren't.
