Stir fries, fried rice, if it's an asian dish it'll probably taste good w/this simple sauce. I use sherry but any dry white wine will work. Brown sugar is a must, however, any other sweetener makes it taste funny to me.

Recipe Ingredients for Amber's

1/2 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp white wine
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 tbsp garlic, minced
2 tbsp ginger, minced
1/2 cup scallions
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Amber's

Saute garlic, ginger, scallions w/a little sesame seed or peanut oil. Add all liquids except water. Add veggi's if doing a stir fry, liquid is almost at a boil, mix cornstarch and water and add to thicken. It's done with it's a sauce. (I eye ball it so I can't tell you how many mins).
