1 T Margarine Spread
1 c soy milk, fluid
1 c steel cut oats
1/2 tsp salt
3 c water

Recipe Directions for Alton Brown's oats (our version)

  1. Brown oats in margarine.

  2. Add water.

  3. Cook on medium to low heat, covered until liquid is absorbed.

  4. Add soy milk and salt and cook until desired consistency reached.

  5. Store, covered in fridge until needed.

  6. Lasts about a week.
