Recipe Ingredients for Alton Brown's California Roll Sushi

2 cups sushi rice
2 cups water
2 T rice wine vinegar
2 T sugar
1 T kosher salt
201 g avacado
1 cucumber
4 1/2 sticks Seafood Sticks
18 g Nori

Recipe Directions for Alton Brown's California Roll Sushi

Heat rice and water uncovered on high heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook 15 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Combine vinegar, sugar, walt and fold into cooked rice. Spread 1/6th of rice on each nori sheet. Add 1.5 half sticks of crab, avacado slices, and seeded cucumber slices (matchstick size). Roll and slice.
