Makes 16 servings



Moist and sweet. Use regular rolled oats, not quick oats. Gluten is added to keep it from being to crumbly. Gluten is only a bad thing if you are allergic to it.

Recipe Ingredients for Alpisa Bread, Oatmeal

1 cup Rolled Oats
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
3 tbsp Honey
1 1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Canola Oil
3 cups Bread Flour
30 serving Wheat Gluten
2 tsp yeast

Recipe Directions for Alpisa Bread, Oatmeal

  1. Add yeast to machine first, add water and sugar. Allow to proof for roughly 30 minutes.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Use bread machine for mixing and rising.

  4. When the machine is done, shape loaf and place into oiled 9?x5? loaf-pan

  5. Allow to rise in warm place, top of loaf should be about an inch above the edge of the pan.

  6. Bake bread at 350F for 30 minutes
