Recipe Ingredients for Aloo Gobi/Potato Cauliflower

1 cup Cauliflower
2 potato medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia) Potatoes, White, Flesh And Skin
0.5 cup Oil, Soybean
0.75 tsp Turmeric, Ground
1 teaspoon Red Pepper, Ground
1 tsp Cumin Seed
2 Medium Tomatoes
2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
2 tsp Spices Ground Coriander
3 pieces Garlic Cloves

Recipe Directions for Aloo Gobi/Potato Cauliflower

  1. Cut cauliflower into flowerets. Cube potatoes.

  2. Heat oil and saute cumin seeds for about a minute.

  3. Add garlic and ginger, stir and add potatoes.

  4. Bhoona, add turmeric and chili powder, and bhoona again.

  5. Add tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes.

  6. Add cauliflower and high heat for about a minute.

  7. Lower heat, cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes.

  8. Curry should be dry.
