Two different kinds of protein sources plus summer time goodness. Bodybuilders rejoice on this one!

Recipe Ingredients for Almost veggie chili

1 medium yellow squash
1 small onion
1/4 pound green beans
4 ounces mushrooms
1/2 pound 99% fat free ground turkey
1 tbsp garlic
1/2 pound Quorn meatless soy-free beef style crumbles
3 tbsp chili powder

Recipe Directions for Almost veggie chili

  1. Brown the ground turkey.

  2. Cut up the vegetables into bite size pieces.

  3. Put all into 3 quart crockpot on high for 3 hours or until vegetables are cooked.

  4. Enjoy.

  5. Note: You may wish to add up to one cup water to get things going, and/or add a packet of no salt/no MSG beef bouillon.
