2 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Almost Nonfat Pesto

  1. Method :

  2. Put the basil, garlic, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese in a blender or food processor. Turn the machine on and drizzle in the lemon juice. Continue to puree until a smooth paste is formed.

  3. Makes 3/4 cup pesto.
