From Cook's Illustrated; serving size is two slices

Recipe Ingredients for Almost No Knead Bread

3 c flour
1/4 t instant yeast
2 t salt
3 oz lager beer
1 T vinegar
7 oz water

Recipe Directions for Almost No Knead Bread

mix dry ingredients, add mosit ingredients and fold together to form ragged ball; cover and let proof for 12-18 hours. Knead 10-15 times. Set on parchment paper, seam side down, cover lightly, and proof additional 2 hours. Preheat oven AND dutch oven, including cover for 30 min at 500 degrees. Put dough on parchment in dutch oven, cover, reduce temp to 425. Bake 30 min covered, and then 30 min uncovered until interior is 210 deg. Remove and cool on wire rack for 2 hours.
