Recipe Ingredients for Almost Judrah

1/2 c. lentils
1/2 c. rice
15 oz. chicken broth
1/2 t. cumin
1 t. saffron

Recipe Directions for Almost Judrah

  1. Add lentils and broth to a saucepan and bring to a boil, covered, for about 10 min.

  2. Add rice and seasonings, replace cover, and turn heat to med. low until rice is cooked, about 20 min.

  3. Keep an eye on it and add a touch of water if it gets too dry.
