Recipe Ingredients for Almost homemade spaghetti sauce

1/2 lb ground beef
3/4 lb turkey sausage
3/4 cup onion, chopped
5 garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
24 oz Classico spaghetti sauce, Spicy red pepper
24 oz diced tomatoes
1 T oregano, dried
1 T basil, dried

Recipe Directions for Almost homemade spaghetti sauce

  1. Remove sausage from casings. Brown sausage & ground beef in dutch oven or large saucepan over medium high heat.

  2. Add chopped onion, garlic & mushrooms and cook until onion is tender.

  3. Add spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes and spices. Lower heat and simmer for 30 mins to blend flavors.
