A very good alternative the fat laden regular french toast.

Recipe Ingredients for Almost fat free french toast.

2 slices of wheat bread
1 tablespoon of skim milk
1 egg white
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 dash of nutmeg
1 dash of cloves
3 strawberries

Recipe Directions for Almost fat free french toast.

  1. Stir together the milk, egg white, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a bowl.

  2. Soak bread for 2 minutes on each side.

  3. Fry on a griddle or in a pan (with non stick spray) until nicely browned on both sides. About 4-5 minutes

  4. Top with sliced strawberries. Can also top with warm applesauce but it will change the calories.
