Recipe Ingredients for Almost Better Than Sex Cake

1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons smart balance
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
453 g (1 box) Organic Chocolate Cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup Smart Balance
1 cup Fat Free Milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 cup hot water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
14 oz (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream

Recipe Directions for Almost Better Than Sex Cake

  1. Make Caramel sauce out of first 3 ingredients at least a day in advance. Refrigerate until ready to use.

  2. Prepare and bake cake according to directions on box.

  3. Remove cake from oven. Allow to cool slightly and then poke small holes all over.

  4. Pour condensed milk evenly over top. Allow to soak in completely.

  5. Slightly heat caramel (enough so it pours easily), and pour over top of cake. Allow to soak in completely.

  6. Refrigerate cake until completely cooled.

  7. Whip 1 cup cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff.

  8. Spread over top of cake. Cover and store in refrigerator.
