Recipe Ingredients for Almond Spice Bread

1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup oil
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup yogurt (soy, if vegan)
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup almonds
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

Recipe Directions for Almond Spice Bread

  1. Mix together wet ingredients.

  2. Sift together dry ingredients, except almonds.

  3. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.

  4. Chop almonds and fold in.

  5. Pour into a prepared 8-inch loaf pan.

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

  7. Let cool in pan for about an hour before slicing.
