Recipe Ingredients for Almond Roca

1 lb butter
2 cups sugar
2 tbs light corn syrup
6 tbs water
1 cup almonds
2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Almond Roca

  1. Melt butter at medium head until reaches 190F or turns the color of a paper bag. Be patient! Stir constantly.

  2. Remove from heat, add 1/2 of almonds (chopped).

  3. Poor into a greased cookie sheet with edges.

  4. Melt chocolate chips in saucepan on LOW heat.

  5. Pour over roca, spread evenly.

  6. Sprinkle on the rest of the chopped almonds before chocolate hardens.

  7. Refrigerate over night or allow to cool before breaking into pieces.
