Maximized living homemade protein bars

Recipe Ingredients for Almond protein power bars

2 cups raw almonds
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
1/2 cup Organic Coconut Flakes
2 scoops whey powder
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
8 oz unsweetened chocolate

Recipe Directions for Almond protein power bars

  1. Place almonds, flax meal coconut, whey powder, almond butter, and salt in a food processor. Pulse quickly, about 10 seconds. Add coconut oil and pulse until ingredients form a coarse paste. Press mixture in an 8x8 glass baking dish lined with wax paper or parchment paper. Chill in refrigerator one hour until mixture hardens.

  2. In a double boiler melt chocolate and stevia and cinnamon. Spread melted mixture on bars in pan and return to fridge for 30 minutes. Remove from fridge and cut into 10 bars.
