Yogurt made from home-made almond milk.

Recipe Ingredients for Almond Milk yogurt (homemade)

2 oz (48 whole kernels) Almonds
1 l water []
1 pouch Freeze-Dried Yogurt Starter

Recipe Directions for Almond Milk yogurt (homemade)

Soak the almonds for several hours. Drain. Blend water (1 liter) and almonds according to soymilk maker's instructions. Stir nut residue into milk. Heat (if starting with cold or raw milk) or cool (if starting with hot/cooked milk) to 180F, then cool to 108F. Stir in yogurt starter (dissolve in a little bit first, then add to entire batch). Stir well. Pour milk into cups and process according to yogurt maker's instructions.
