A whole nutritious alternative to Almond Joys :)

Recipe Ingredients for Almond Joy Bars

0.75 cup, whole Almonds
8 dates Dates, Medjool
0.5 cup Coconut Meat, Dried (Desiccated), Sweetened, Flaked, Packaged
2 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened

Recipe Directions for Almond Joy Bars

  1. * Reserve 1/4 cup of almonds for finished bars.

  2. Combine all ingredients except for coconut in food processor and blend until sticky/forming a ball.

  3. Remove contents and kneed in coconut 1/4 cup at a time.

  4. Roll out on waxed paper into a rectangle. Cut into quarters, and each square into thirds. Place one almond in each strip and fold over to make bars. Yummy!!
