Recipe Ingredients for almond green beans

1 cup Beans, Snap, Green
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
1 small Onions
1 clove Garlic
0.25 cup Almonds Sliced
1 tbsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for almond green beans

  1. Trim green beans, boil for about 4 minutes.

  2. Chop onions, slice mushrooms, julienne red pepper, mince garlic..

  3. Saute pepper, onions, mushrooms and minced garlic in olive oil, over med, heat until tender..

  4. Drain beans, add to other vegatables. Toast almonds, and sprinkle on veggies.
