Almond Granola Recipe

Mix dry ingredients (except currants), melt butter and mix with wet ingredients, combine ingredients, bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for about 30-40 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Done when all oats have turned light brown. Add currents after baking. Cool. Enjoy with milk, yogurt, or dry. Do NOT overcook.

Recipe Ingredients for Almond granola

6 cups Oats
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cloves
1 1/2 cups almonds, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1/3 cup dried currants

  1. In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients (except currants)

  2. Melt butter (try 2.5 minutes on 20% power in the microwave) and mix with wet ingredients.

  3. Combine ingredients (except currants)

  4. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for about 30-40 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Done when all oats have turned light brown.

  6. Cool.

  7. Enjoy with milk, yogurt, or dry.
