An easy-to-make granola recipe with just a little over 100 calories a serving. Great with milk or yogurt! Also, feel free to add raisins (or other dried fruit) at any time!

Recipe Ingredients for Almond Granola

1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
6 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups chopped almonds
1/3 cup apple juice
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe Directions for Almond Granola

  1. Mix the rolled oats with chopped almonds in a bowl. Set aside.

  2. On the stove, mix brown sugar, honey, apple juice, canola oil, and vanilla. Let caramelize.

  3. Pour carmel mixture over rolled oats and almonds. Stir until coated.

  4. Spread mixture evenly into a pan and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) for about 20 minutes (or until golden in color).

  5. Let cool.
