Almond Flour Biscuits

Recipe Ingredients for Almond Flour biscuits

4.25 serving Honeyville Almond Flour
4 serving Egg, White
3 tbsp Salted Butter

Recipe Directions for Almond Flour biscuits

  1. Directions

  2. 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  3. 2. Mix all the dry ingredients together (almond flour, salt, baking powder) in a large bowl.

  4. 3. Cut the cold butter into the dry ingredients using the tines of your fork. Rotate the bowl with your other hand until the mixture has pea-sized chunks throughout.

  5. 4. Chill this mixture in the fridge for 10-15 minutes so that the fat can get cold and hard. The longer you leave it in (I aim for 30 pretty often), the fluffier the biscuits will usually turn out.

  6. 5. Whisk the egg whites in a bowl for about 20 seconds to build up a light foam.

  7. 6. Remove the dry mix from the fridge and whisk in the egg whites for a few seconds, breaking up any massive chunks in the dough with a whisk or fork.

  8. 7. Dollop the dough out into your foil pan (I use a muffin pan) and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
