broiled tilapia fillets encrusted with chopped slivered almonds

Recipe Ingredients for almond crusted tilapia

9 oz Tilapia Fresh Seafood
1/4 cup Organic White Rice Flour
2 large Egg, Whole
1/2 cup Slivered Almonds
2 tbsp Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping

Recipe Directions for almond crusted tilapia

prepare 4 dishes for dredging fish. place fillets in first dish (use something with high edges such as a bowl) cover with creme (pour more than 2 Tb over fish so that fish is just covered) let sit while preparing other dishes. The second dish will hold the rice flour, mix about 1 Tb ground sage into flour (I also used more flour in dish to ensure coating) the next dish beat the two eggs. the final dish will hold the chopped almonds. Once set take one fillet at a time to each dish so that the fillets are evenly coated with each ingredient. Let rest on broiling pan for 5 min before broiling on high for 3-5 min per side until almonds are golden and fish is just cooked.
