quick bread. this recipe is incorrect (CC would not look up calories for certain ingredients). Only use 1 cup flour and substitute a can of Solo Almond Cake & Pastry Filling for the "almond paste".

Recipe Ingredients for Almond Cake

1 cup butter
1 3/5 cup sugar
3 eggs
5 oz almond paste
2 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup skim milk
1 cup confectioner's sugar
2 tbsp skim milk
1/4 tsp almond extract

Recipe Directions for Almond Cake

  1. grease and flour bundt pan

  2. beat butter & sugar, add eggs, add almond filling

  3. mix flour, baking powder, and salt. add to almond mix.

  4. combine wet and dry mixes. add milk

  5. bake 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. cool completely.

  6. combine conf. sugar, remaining milk, and extract to form glaze. pour over cooled cake
