Almond butter is a sweet, nutty, complimentary flavor to this classic appetizer. Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 10 minutes

Recipe Ingredients for Almond Butter Hummus

16 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup almond butter, plus one tablespoon
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe Directions for Almond Butter Hummus

  1. Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend to a smooth, creamy consistency. If too thick, add 1 teaspoon of warm water or chickpea liquid at a time and blend until desired consistency.

  2. Serve almond butter hummus with pita bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables like carrots and celery.
