Brown rice pilaf with almonds mushrooms, garlic and onions

Recipe Ingredients for Almond brown rice pilaf

1 1/4 cups raw organic long grain brown rice
3 cups chicken broth
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
4 ounce organic sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tbsp margarine
3/4 cup chopped almonds

Recipe Directions for Almond brown rice pilaf

  1. cook brown rice for 40-45 minutes in chicken broth

  2. sautee onion, garlic, mushrooms and chopped almonds in the margarine

  3. after rice is fully cooked, remove from heat and stir in sauteed mixture
