For a healthy and nutritious breakfast or meal supplement; very filling. Because it has about 25% of daily protein, carbs (16%) and fats (29%), I find it to be a very balanced, healthy and a delicious choice for a meal supplement once a day. Recommended for breakfast, dinner or post moderate to intense workout.

Recipe Ingredients for Almond Banana Shake

24 Almonds
1 Banana (or other fruits of your choice)
1 cup Soy Milk, Fluid (plain or vanilla)

Recipe Directions for Almond Banana Shake

  1. Soak the almonds in water overnight, peel off the skin (doesn't take very long at all) and put the kernels in a blender.

  2. Use a small banana or only half of a large, unless you like thick, fruity shakes.

  3. Add 1 Glass of soy milk and blend until consistency is to your liking.

  4. Note: you can also add sugar to your liking, although not recommended for a healthy drink.
