Recipe Ingredients for Almond Banana Bread

3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
0.33 cup Butter
0.75 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 large Egg, Whole
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 dash Salt, Table
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
0.13 tsp Cloves, Ground
1.5 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
0.75 cup, sliced Almonds

Recipe Directions for Almond Banana Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. With a wooden spoon, mix butter and almond oil into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Mix in the sugar, egg, vanilla and bourbon, then the spices.

  4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.

  5. Add the flour, mix.

  6. Add the almonds, and stir until just incorporated.

  7. Pour mixture into a buttered 48 inch loaf pan.

  8. Bake for 1 hour.

  9. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.
